Ingredients:
- HHF 8.75lbs Applewood Smoked Ham
- 4 potatoes, thinly sliced
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 2 tbsp flour
- 2 tbsp butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Whisk in flour, cooking for 1 minute.
- Gradually add milk, whisking constantly until the mixture thickens, 5-7 minutes. Stir in salt, pepper, and 1 1/2 cups of cheese.
- In a greased baking dish, layer half of the potatoes, ham, and onion.
- Pour half of the cheese sauce over the layers. Repeat with remaining ingredients.
- Top with remaining cheese and bake for 45-50 minutes until potatoes are tender and golden on top.
