(1) 5-6 pound whole brisket

Very rich in flavor, excellent smoked. The brisket is a versatile cut of meat and easily holds marinades and rubs which creates deep flavor. Our brisket is cut to maximize yield while still maintaining a small fat cap for flavoring.

Brisket is a flavorful cut that benefits from low and slow cooking to break down its tough fibers. Here are three great ways to cook brisket:

1. Smoked Brisket (Texas-Style BBQ)

  • Season with salt, pepper, and spices, then smoke it low and slow (225°F) over wood (oak, hickory, or mesquite) for 10-16 hours.
  • This method gives it a crispy bark, smoky flavor, and juicy, tender meat—perfect for slicing!

2. Braised Brisket (Oven or Slow Cooker)

  • Sear the brisket, then cook it covered in broth, wine, onions, and herbs at 275°F for 4-6 hours.
  • This method creates fall-apart tender meat and a rich, flavorful sauce—ideal for serving with mashed potatoes or vegetables.

3. Pressure-Cooked Brisket (Instant Pot)

  • Brown the brisket first, then cook it with broth and seasonings in a pressure cooker for 75-90 minutes.
  • This is the fastest method, giving you tender, flavorful brisket in a fraction of the time compared to smoking or braising.
