Organic Chicken Cut Wings
.95-1.25 lb each package
Chicken "cut wings" are simply whole chicken wings that have been separated into parts. A standard chicken wing consists of three sections:
- Drumette: The meaty part closest to the chicken's body, often compared to a small drumstick.
- Wingette (or flat): The middle section, which is mostly bone and skin with some meat.
- Tip: The pointed end of the wing, which is often discarded or used for making stock.
When you buy our cut wings, they’ve already been divided into the drumettes and wingettes (the two meaty sections), leaving the tips behind. This makes them more convenient to cook and eat, especially for recipes like buffalo wings, where the drumettes and flats are the preferred pieces.
